Barney started in the plumbing business when he was nine years old. His father owned "Jack's Plumbing" in Warren, PA for over 30 years. After Barney worked for his father for ten years, he went off to college to pursue the computer business. Following many successes in computer programming, sales and marketing, micrographics, document imaging, and information technology, he decided to start a second career, and return to his roots.

The "Sons", John, Chris, and Patrick all have various rolls in the business. John is a Network Engineer with WWT and is responsible for all IT services for the company. Chris works for a major plumbing supply house and pulls all the permits for the company. Patrick, in May of 2012 graduated from Plumbing School at Fairfax County's Adult Education Program and is now a licensed Journeymen Plumber. Gidders and Sons Plumbing is the preferred plumber for the following northern Virginia neighborhoods: Kings Park, Kings Park West, Surry Square, Old Forge, Mantua, & MONA (Mom’s of North Arlington).

All plumbing work comes from references of satisfied customers and local news letters. We decided that first rate service at a below market price is the ideal formula for a successful business. Gidders & Sons Plumbing is licensed and insured!
